Chandelier {Love}

but hey...who knows what you can find at the Thrift store. 

A canning party!

A canning party... 

Who'd have thought?  

Isn't it great?  

I mean, certainly we all like to eat!  

Amy and I just canned our very first pears together on Sunday. 

We managed to get 6 whole pints from our pears!

{we are big achievers}

When the first jar popped we just jumped with excitement!  

SO excited that we even went out and bought more jars so we could try making some jam.  :)  

We are actually scheduled to have a 

"canning party" 

in a few weeks.

We will be canning apples.  

It's going to be a great time, I can tell already. :)   

I could easily see a group of women together having a canning party.  

This could be done at one of the local halls. 

Think of the sweet homemade gifts you'd have for the holidays.
